Ben Kuroki: An American Hero
Kuroki was the only Japanese American to fly as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force during WWII in the Pacific Amphitheater.

In my grandma's journal, I found this photo that Ben Kuroki had sent her. He is in the bottom left corner. I am unsure of how they knew each other. The photo says "28 Pl - 20 Nov '44 - 651 - Combat Crew -454th Sqd." He flew a total of 58 missions over Africa, Japan and North Africa and still had time to send her a photo.
